Our postgraduate teacher training course is not salaried, and incurs tuition fees for 2027/28 of:

£9,050 (QTS)

£10,050  (QTS with PGCE)

Funding for teacher training is available

for eligible graduates who are starting their training in the next academic year on postgraduate routes including the non-salaried School Direct programme. For more information, visit https://www.gov.uk/student-finance/overview

Bursaries

If you are successful in your application to train to teach primary school children, you could be eligible for a tax-free bursary to support you during your course.

There are also specific bursaries available for some secondary teacher training.

If you’re eligible for a bursary, the payments will be processed automatically and you will be informed of the process at the start of the course.
